We’ll be using Swifty's super soft fiber to learn how to felt wool, then make and design a beautiful bowl.  We'll add colourful yarn and roving to create our own unique designs.  We'll also be paying a little visit to the alpacas to thank them for their wool with some treats :)

This coming August we will be offering two weeks of summer camps for kids aged 8 to 12 in Kaleden, just 15 minutes south of downtown Penticton.

These summer camps are ideal for kids who love animals and enjoy being creative!

Every morning, we will start off our day with a little alpaca yoga session.  Throughout the week, we will be learning all about alpacas and their amazingly soft wool.  Each child will work towards creating their own beautiful wall hanging to bring home made from alpaca wool.  They will be learning all the steps involved in making the yarn, including hand spinning and dying.  There will also be time for some running around and play time!

Groups size is limited to 8 children per week.

The camp will run Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.  

There will be options available for early drop off and late pick up
